👣 💬 BEYOND, BETWEEN, ALONG is a collaboration between architects Lawrence Ebelle, Curated Works, and Tyra Dokkedahl, Seriously Fun, who are both interested in the development of Copenhagen. With the project BEYOND, BETWEEN, ALONG they want to create space for a conversation about Copenhagen’s development between residents, professionals and politicians. BEYOND, BETWEEN, ALONG includes three city walks and a debate event supported by Indre By Lokaludvalg. Ebelle and Dokkedahl invite residents, professionals, activists and politicians to walk along curated routes in Nørrebro, in downtown Copenhagen and in Sydhavn. On the way, you can meet residents from Ebelle’s book ‘Beyond the window sill’ and experience selected works by local and international artists and architects who draw the district’s history. Conversations on the routes will be picked up in a debate event at the Museum of Copenhagen.

BEYOND, BETWEEN, ALONG takes a loving and critical look at Copenhagen’s development since the 1990s. It’s time to take stock and rethink the model of the city’s development.
The project is a contribution to the 2023 architecture year and a contribution to the City of Copenhagen’s self-celebration.

Beyond, Between, Along er et samarbejde mellem arkitekterne Lawrence Ebelle, Curated Works, og Tyra Dokkedahl, Seriously Fun, som begge er optagede af Københavns udvikling. Med projektet Beyond, Between, Along ønsker de at skabe rum for en samtale om Københavns udvikling mellem indbyggere, fagfolk og politikere.

Beyond, Between, Along omfatter tre byvandringer og et debatarrangement, der er støttet af Indre By Lokaludvalg. Ebelle og Dokkedahl inviterer indbyggere, fagfolk, aktivister og politikere til at vandre langs kuraterede ruter på Nørrebro, i Indre By og i Sydhavn.

På vejen kan man møde beboere fra Ebelles bog “Beyond the window sill” og opleve udvalgte værker af lokale og internationale kunstnere og arkitekter, der tegner bydelens historie. Samtaler på ruterne bliver samlet op i et debatarrangement på Københavns Museum.
