For the past 3 years Curated Works has been creating site-specific and bespoke paper flower installations.
In the mansion that houses the cultural incubator Villa Kultur, Curated Works shaped a floral cloud made of a variety of flowers in a plum color hue range which constrats with the duotone walls and the plaster molds (some mean they are Thorvaldsen’s original) which adorn Villa Kultur’s reception area.
Hanging from the ceiling, the cloud consisting of hundreds of handcrafted paper flowers intertwined in a wire frame is a conspicuous element which greets any visitor stepping into the building.
